I took the course a week before the LMHC exam (and passed) and I can say confidently that I would not have passed the exam without taking the course. I had been studying for the exam on my own primarily with the DSM, and the course was the perfect supplement as it covered ethics and record keeping laws/rules and most importantly the format of the exam in detail.
